Save yourself from wolves in sheep’s clothing.
The world is full of contradictions. Some people warn us: "Don’t trust what others say." But the same voices also urge: "Pay close attention to what people around you are saying." Which one is it? Why are we asked to listen carefully if we’re ultimately told to ignore?
Here’s my take: Yes, we should listen but not to react. We should absorb information like background music, registering every subtle note in our subconscious. That quiet awareness helps us act wisely when it truly matters when giving advice, making decisions, or protecting ourselves or others. Awareness doesn’t mean overthinking it means staying mentally present.
A Short Story
Once, there was a society known for its ruthlessness. It could eliminate threats and get things done in ways others couldn't imagine. But over time, its strength faded. It became so vulnerable, it couldn’t even detect a simple spyware in its own circle. What went wrong? Power isn’t about control alone it’s about sustained awareness, shared knowledge, and long-term thinking. Think of our grandparents, who plant mango seeds not for themselves, but for future generations. That’s wisdom working today for a fruit you may never taste.
Be a Wolf, Not a Sheep. Society can be cunning, like a wolf in disguise. But here’s the truth: a wolf in a pack is one of the most intelligent and communicative beings in the wild. Their coordination, alertness, and loyalty make them formidable. So the lesson? Don’t be the sheep. Don’t be the silent observer waiting to be led. Be the wolf sharp, aware, and surrounded by those who grow together, think together, and protect each other.
In a world full of noise, silence is strength. In a world full of deceit, awareness is power.
